We are hosting our first-ever community dinner on April 26th in Leeds. We will be raising funds for our Gear Up the Grads event in early June, so please consider attending and inviting friends. We'll have a cookout and enjoy being together, as well as hear from Garrett (our president) on our vision for the next year. The Nest is excited to host our second annual GUTG event to support foster youth who are graduating and heading to a post-secondary program or trade! We will provide a shopping experience where they can select and purchase items for dorms and apartments, a true rite of passage and moment for them to be celebrated for all they have achieved.

We need volunteers to serve as shopping buddies and encouragers for the event. If you or your company are interested in sponsoring or volunteering during the event, please let us know by filling out this form. Each grad will be given a budget of $500-600 to shop with a buddy during the event for items like microwaves, bedding, towels, etc.
